Fully Noded is a bitcoin wallet that operates entirely through your own node over Tor. This approach provides a truly independent, private, and secure Bitcoin experience, in line with fundamental principles.

Fully Noded presents an intuitive yet robust interface. The home screen showcases statistics about the Bitcoin network from the perspective of your node. The active wallet tab offers a comprehensive yet user-friendly wallet environment that supports both single signature and multi-signature wallets.

Utilizing psbt’s (partially signed bitcoin transactions) and output descriptors, Fully Noded leverages the cutting-edge capabilities of the Bitcoin Core codebase. With this structure, Fully Noded consistently ensures the encryption and secure storage of your private keys on your device. Users retain the option to remove their seed words from the device and add them back at any time. Fully Noded does not retain private keys on your node.

Primarily, Fully Noded utilizes a Bitcoin library named LibWally to locally sign transactions and generate private keys. Meanwhile, your node functions as a watch-only wallet, constructing psbt’s that Fully Noded signs without exposing your private keys to network requests.

Additionally, Fully Noded serves as a robust recovery tool. By inputting any BIP39 recovery phrase, it can restore several popular wallets.

The application seamlessly integrates with Coldcard, allowing for simple airdrop wallet export files and psbt’s to be sent to Fully Noded for seamless interaction. Easily utilize your Coldcard as a watch-only or multisig wallet powered by your personal node.

For in-depth features and optimal compatibility, we recommend utilizing Bitcoin Core 0.20.0.
